How often do you go out without your phone? How often do you stay off social media? How often do you keep your house dirty, scattered, and littered? Let’s start with the first question — It happens to me sometimes that I take a walk and forget my earplugs or even something I had intended to buy but it never happens that I will forget my phone because my brain has been subconsciously wired to go everywhere with it.

I could go hours on social media sometimes just scrolling and having fun only to remember later that I had something planned out that I had totally neglected and that’s because social media has been designed in such a way that it will consistently provide you the exact things you need to see thereby extending your stay time with the aid of its algorithm.

Nearly all those who have visited me personally in my house have a sentence in common, “your house is always clean and accommodating” which brings me to wonder — If you can be so private, protective, and concerned about your phone that it bothers you so much whenever you step out without it — or if it worries you so much that you barely can do anything if your house is not in order — or should we talk about how energetic and super happy you get each time you set your mind free and just scroll endlessly on the social media, sometimes you even get upset when you miss an episode of your favorite TV show — if all of these was to be called one word, I will call it OBSESSION.

How often do you think of your goals and ambitions in this manner?

Call it food for thought!
