Live in the moment
Everybody dies but not everybody lives.
Your life, good or bad is a reflection of your past and your present combined.
I felt cold air rush in through my half-opened window.
My eyes opened slightly to a tiny light ray from the corridor of the block opposite mine.
I had fallen asleep on my couch while reflecting on the previous day.
Fully awake now and unable to go back to sleep! I needed to feed my eyes with something.
YouTube came to the rescue.
I opened up and in the first video that came up was a young man calling out to us all to live in the moment.
He said,
What surprises me most about the humankind is that;
We get bored of our childhood
Rush to grow up
Then long to be children again.
We lose our health to make money
Then lose our money to restore our health
By thinking anxiously about the future
We forget the present
Such that we live in neither the present
Nor the future
We live as if we are never going to die
Then die like we never lived.
